Serves 4
INGREDIENTS:
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 cup opal basil, coarsely chopped
4 tbsp. fresh parsley, finely chopped
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. black pepper
1 lb. French beans, halved
Parmesan cheese to serve
METHOD:
Steam French beans for 15 minutes until tender. Meanwhile, melt butter in a pan.
Add opal basil, parsley, salt and black pepper. Arrange French beans on a serving plate. Drizzle over opal basil butter. Serve hot as a side dish to lamb or beef, garnished with Parmesan cheese.
